Hampstead Morning Class - ハムステッド朝のクラスより

先日のぺージにも書きましたが、先週からハムステッドで朝の教室が始まりました。内容は、ブルームスブリーのイブニング・クラスと同じ。でも実はハムステッドの朝のクラス、’超’のつくほど小さな教室で、先週ご参加頂いたのは二人という状態でした、、、。というわけで、お二人とも、机を広々使ってのアレンジ作製となりました。この日のテーマは、ラウンド・アレンジメント。ディナー・テーブルや少々低めのコーヒーテーブル等に最適なデザインです。もちろん、バスケットの中に作れば、すてきなギフトへと早変わり。花屋さんで働いているときも、たくさん作らせていただいたものです。
右上の写真は、めぐみさんが作られたアレンジ。弁慶草の中に、少し変わった色目のカーネーションが光るデザインで、ピンクを基調としながらも、甘くなり過ぎていない個性的な仕上がりになっているのではないでしょうか？
次の写真は、リカさんの作品。白と赤の組み合わせにする予定ではなかった、とは本人の弁。でも、とても上品で落ち着いたデザインになっているのでは？トルコ桔梗が優しく揺れる姿を、是非見ていただきたかったです！
As I mentioned yesterday, the Morning Class has started in Hampstead. The course structure is exactly the same as the evening one in Bloomsbury. However, there is a noticeable difference; it was a SUPER small class with only 3 of us in the room! Good thing was that everyone used a big worktable all for oneself.
The theme was Round Arrangements. It is a suitable design for dinner tables and low coffee tables. Of course, it can be a gift, especially when it is made in a basket or something. I cannot remember how many round arrangements we made in flower shops...
The picture above is from Megumi. With Sedum and unusual Carnations, Megumi creatd sweet but not-too-feminine design. It had very interesting texture, visual depth and its CHARACTER.
The next design is from Rika. According to Rika, it was not her first choice to use white and red together. Although I myself is not a big fan of this combination, it did look stunning. I wish you could see the elegant movement of white Eustoma!

Yukiko's flowers - 裕季子さんの作品

春から始まったイブニング・クラス。この９月から、おかげさまで二期目を迎える事ができました。コース当初から続けて来た基礎コースを終えた方は、アドバンス・コースへと移行です．（といっても、同じ教室内での制作です）フレーム・ワークやワイヤーを積極的に取り入れた作品等、これからはよりヨーロッパ・デザインを取り入れたものへと移っていく予定です。また、あらたに始められた方々には、デザインの基礎を重点的に練習する基礎コースから。ラウンドのアレンジや花束の作り方等、基礎ながらとても大切なデザインを身につけていきます。 裕季子さんは、コース開始時から参加頂いている方の一人。９月からはアドバンスコースです。きょうは、そんな由季子さんのアシンメトリカル・デザインをご紹介します。いまにも咲かんとしている芍薬の花を囲むように添えられた花の数々。華やかさの中にも、形をしっかりまとめあげた事で、凛とした花の姿が見えてきていますね。
Evening class in Bloomsbury began in Spring. Now, from this September, we are in the second term with 2 different contents. One is the Start-up Course for anyone who blushes up the basic skill; making round arrangements, Hand-Tied bouquet...etc. The other one is the Advanced Course for anyone who would like to exlore one's creativity; wire work, frame work...etc. More contemporary and European style will be involved later.
Yukiko has been in the class from the Spring, and now in the Advanced Course. Asymmetrical design was the last week subject, and here you are. This is Yukiko's work. Nearly-bursting-out Peonies are surrounded by other coordinated flowers in this design. It has not only beautifully sweet colour, but also quite sharp style brought by its clean-cut shape.

Flowers from Aimi - 愛美さんの作品

今日は、先日教室に参加してくださった愛美さんの作品をご紹介します。当日は、ハンド・タイドの花束が課題で、サイゼルと呼ばれる繊維をデザインの中に組み込んでいきました。
右にあるのが、教室で作ってもらった作品です。ぷっくりと咲くバラが、話しかけるようにたたずむ作品です。生まれて初めて作った花束とは、とても見えませんね。
We had a class for Hand-Tied arrangement the other day. As you can see, we used sisal as a component of the design. Aimi came to the class, and had never made a Hand-tied before. But, look what Aimi did during the class! Lovely roses sitting in the middle ofthe design, as if they are talking to you.
